Advanced Training The Classic Five Series of Structural Integration

Instructors: Nilce Silveria and Larry Phipps

CE Credits: 120 CE Credits Category 1 SI Study

Course Description:

The Advanced Five Series will be experienced as a participant. You will exchange the work with a fellow student. You will have two models to work with as well. The advanced series will be a new process in working with clients that progresses from table to bench to standing. This work is referenced in revisiting the Ten Series by review and practice.

Our intention is to refine and enhance your understanding, to accomplish your goals more efficiently and reinvigorate yourself in the Structural Integration process. Nilce and Larry offer this course for those interested in deepening and expanding their professional practice in Structural Integration.

Instructor Bios:

Nilce Silveira: After graduating in Psychology, Nilce did her training in Rolfing in 1983 at the Rolf Institute. She participated in the creation of the Guild for Structural Integration in 1990 and started teaching that same year. She taught alongside with Dr. Rolf’s first teachers, Emmett Hutchins and Peter Melchior for many years. She remains committed to establishing Dr. Rolf’s work internationally, and in strengthening its position in today’s marketplace.

Presently, she maintains a private practice in Sao Paulo and teaches internationally through her workshops, mentoring students at home and abroad. Nilce enriches the quality of work and depth of understanding of Structural Integration for practitioners throughout the world and carries Dr. Rolf’s traditional teachings and love for the Art of Structural Integration.

Larry Phipps: After graduating with a B.S. in Education and Psychology, Larry worked in Behavioral Health. His work and beliefs are about the holistic principles of body, mind, spirit. This is expressed in the evoked potential of individuals. This premise of being grounded in the present and empowered for the future is revealed through Dr. Rolf’s work.

He has studied with Emmett Hutchins, Stacy Mills, Peter Melchior and John Lodge. He completed his trainings with the Guild in 1990, Advanced Training in 1994. During the Basic Guild Trainings while assisting Nilce Silveria, in 1996 and Neal Powers in 1998, he discovered a passion for teaching the work.

In 2002 he began a 12 year journey of teaching Kinesis Myofascial Integration. Today his focus and practice has shifted back to his roots in the teachings of Dr. Rolf’s Classic Ten Series of Structural Integration.
