Course Description:

How do you end your sessions and what integrative opportunities can you incorporate for your client as they transition from lying down, to sitting, standing and then out into the world? How do you educate and invite more awareness? Come join me as we explore these questions. Remembering and bringing forward the work and wisdom from our past, we will explore the gifts handed down by Dorothy Nolte (Structural Awareness) and other women of our lineage. We will spend time learning: Variations of the Rolf Pelvic Lift Layering Tracking skills Transitions Line Meditation and more..... This class is open to women in SI representing all shapes, sizes, ages, races, sexual orientation and gender identities. Instructor Bio:

Liz Stewart trained at the Guild For Structural Integration with direct students of Dr. Rolf including Peter Melchior and Emmett Hutchins. She was at GSI early on when Stacy Mills and Dorothy Nolte were teaching. Liz studied with them both in the classroom and outside of the classroom in private mentorship. At this time in history, Guild graduates were not able to attend classes with teachers at RISI. Luckily there were enough practitioners in Boulder from RISI, GSI and Hellerwork that enjoyed getting together (Pre-IASI) to meet and form small study groups to learn outside of the classroom with Gael Ohlgren and Heather (Wing) Starsong. All these influences helped Liz to find her way as a woman in the field of Structural Integration. In practice since her 20's and now in her mid 50's Liz has walked the path as a student, assistant instructor, teacher, and mentor. In this time she has gotten married, birthed and raised a child, gotten divorced, experienced the death of loved ones, and most recently taken the walk along the perimenopausal lane. She embraces nature, has her struggles and insecurities, loves, laughs and cries and when she can and as often as possible, gets on her road bike to ride! Liz is a perpetual student and embraces Dr. Rolf's "wisdom of insecurity" as she continues to grow into her womanhood.
