2020 IASI Symposium

Keynote and Breakout Presenters Request for Proposals

March 26-29, 2020 | Portland, OR, USA

Call for Keynote and Breakout Presenters

The International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI) is looking for professionals to submit stimulating presentation ideas through our 2020 Symposium Request for Proposals. The goal of IASI's Symposium is to help attendees reach their full potential as SI practitioners. The two-day Symposium will take place on Friday and Saturday and we  will be offering the following presentation opportunities:

  • Two (2) 75-minute general/keynote sessions
  • Eighteen (18) 75-minute breakout sessions
  • One (1) or more half-day, 3-hour workshops (Thursday afternoon, pre-conference)

Deadline for Submissions: Submissions received by March 25, 2019 will be considered.

Event Audience/Attendees: IASI is looking to welcome more than 200 SI practitioners, educators, students, and vendors to its 2019 Symposium.

Theme: The Symposium theme will be finalized after the presentations have been selected. Our preliminary idea is 2020 Inner Space Odyssey: The New Era of Embodiment.

  • Discounted Symposium registration for 75-minute breakout presenters.
  • Complimentary 2-day Symposium registration for 3-hour workshop presenters.
  • A modest honorarium plus complimentary 2-day Symposium registration for keynote speakers.

In addition, presenting at the Symposium is an excellent way to enhance your reputation as a leader in the field of Structural Integration and gain exposure for your teaching.

Selection Process: Submit your session ideas by March 25, 2019, using IAS's online application. Upon acceptance, the IASI Symposium Committee may modify the session title and description to fit into our marketing style and format for the purpose of the promotional/registration brochure and other marketing materials. You will have the opportunity to approve our edits.

Submission Criteria: Presenters may not use their presentation as a platform for commercial sales. If you have a product or a program to promote, we invite you to consider sponsoring a table, as we know practitioners will appreciate the opportunity to connect with you about your offerings.

Continuing Education Credits: IASI will submit all required documentation for presentations to be approved as IASI Category 2 continuing education credits.

Before submitting a proposal please read the presentation proposal overview document the committee has provided for you. This will help you prepare to take the online form.
