  • Amber Leigh Burnham has become the acting Vice President.
  • Chris Corrales is now the acting secretary on the board.
  • Welcome to Kevin Lucas and Loren O'Neil as new IASI Board members.

Welcome to New CBSI Board Members

This month, the CBSI Board elected two new members to two-year terms. We are so grateful for their service and really look forward to the energy and innovation they bring with them. Please thank them when you see them!

Ryan Hofer, BCSI, of Beaverton, OR, is a recent graduate of the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration. He is also an experienced high school and collegiate educator. He is eager to promote the CESI and participate in the Board’s Examination Construction Committee.

Lauren (Lala) Weiss completed education at the Guild for Structural Integration in 2015 and lives in Salt Lake City, UT. She is an education program manager for an international continuing education organization and travels to Europe, Canada, and Australia regularly. She is interested in item-writing and policy development for the CBSI, particularly regarding continuing education and CBSI’s Certification Maintenance program.

CBSI Update: Call for Certification Examination Item Writers

Here is a fun way for you to serve this fall. The CBSI is fully revising our Certification Examination for Structural Integration (CESI) and intends to roll a new CESI out in the fourth quarter of 2019.

CBSI needs volunteers to collaborate in teams of two to four people, online, to write exam items that address the identified gaps in the CESI. If you participate, your team will think deeply together and learn from each other. We are asking at present for a regular commitment of time at your convenience from October until January. All of your work will be completed at home, on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Learn more about this volunteer opportunity. Volunteers will join CBSI for a Zoom Call October 3 to learn from Dr. Tina Freilicher, CBSI’s psychometric who will teach us how to write examination items. If you wish to participate, please contact Milree Keeling at [email protected] for more information!

IASI Yearbook - Submissions Are Now Closed

Publication for the 2018 IASI Yearbook is underway! We are unable to accept anymore ad or content submissions for this year's issue. There is some great content to look forward to by CBSI professionals like; Judith Aston, Manny Aragon, Daniel Akins, Ritchie Mintz, Kevin Frank, and Ray McCall, Corey Hess, Robin Graber, Tom Myers, Caryn Pierce, and Anita Boser.

We appreciate all the authors, peer reviewers, advertisers, and IASI members that have worked hard to put this yearbook together. You and your contributions have made this possible. Yearbooks are scheduled to hit mailboxes in November.
