NEW! IASI  Webinar: "Practical Tools and Suggestions for Working Remotely with Your Clients: Utilizing Motor Imagery"

Presenter: Monica Canducci

Webinar Description:
Motor Imagery can be a precious tool for all bodyworkers who want to integrate sensory-motor imagery in their practice and/or adapt and improve their skills in order to work remotely. Specific protocols and a series of guided movement explorations can both increase the effectiveness of in-person sessions and enable Structural Integration practitioners to provide online one-on-one and group sessions.

In fact, specific sensory-motor imagery applied to movement and self- massage can be used by Structural Integration practitioners to activate their clients’ proprioceptive, interoceptive, and motor neural networks, promoting the achievement of new skills both perception and coordination-related all while working remotely.

From this class, you will get:

  • Fundamentals of practical neuroplasticity and motor imagery.
  • Practical suggestions about working remotely with clients, one-on- one or in small, online groups.
  • The relevance of congruence between verbal and non-verbal communication to the relationship with our clients
  • The value of motor imagery in movement exploration applied to Structural Integration
