CBSI is working with the Institute for Credentialing Excellence and American National Standards Institute for accreditation. CBSI has reserved the terms Board Certified Structural Integratorcm and its associated symbol, Certification Exam for Structural Integration and Certification Board for Structural Integration for the profession of Structural Integration.
The first official administration of the Certification Exam for Structural Integration took place on October 7, 2007, at the IASI conference in Boston. Since then, more than 400 of your colleagues have taken the exam. IASI members who wish to schedule an exam in their locale should contact us and we will work with you to bring the exam to you. As additional exams are scheduled, we will be publishing those dates to this website.
Board Certified Structural Integrators are entitled to the exclusive use of the BCSI symbols. We encourage Board Certified practitioners to use the symbols on their websites, business cards, brochures, and other professional materials to distinguish themselves and receive acknowledgment for their accomplishment.
CERTIFICATION EXAM FOR STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION
The CBSI worked with a professional psychometrist and a large number of senior SI practitioners to identify SI knowledge categories and create an exam to test the entry level of knowledge necessary for the safe and effective practice of SI. The Certification Exam is not meant to define the field of Structural Integration.
All certified Structural Integration practitioners are encouraged to participate in writing questions for the next exam. Please e-mail our CBSI Chair, Milree Keeling. CBSI hopes that you will consider participating in this rewarding process.
